Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course will investigate the techniques and importance of provide knowledge of all important issues in civil aviation industry about air law and cover essential air law concept as described in the detailed weekly content.
Course Content: Introduction to Air Law; International Agreements and Organizations: Chicago Convention, International Civil Aviation Organization, Warsaw Convention and Responsibility of Carrier, La Hey Convention, Air Traffic Rights Convention, Tokyo Convention, European Civil Aviation Conference, Eurocontrol, European Union of Civil Aviation Authorities, European Union Aviation Regulations; Turkish Civil Aviation Legislation; Aircraft: Concepts and Types, Legal Nature of Aircraft, Identity, Performance, Registry, Ownership; Aircraft Operator: Responsibility of the Operator, Operational Insurance Obligation; Air Transport Agreement; Competition and Cooperation Regulations in Airway Transportation.
