Course Objectives: | To determine the general purpose and philosophy of sociology, the basic concepts and principles in sociology, the relationship between sociology and education. |
Course Content: | Sociological and psychological approaches to human and social life, the relationship between society and culture, social structure, social institution, social role and social status, social stratification and social mobility, society, cultur, family and socialization process of the school, change and modernization of Turkish society The effects of industrialization, development, democratization and westernization processes on Turkish education system. |
