Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It is aimed to increase the level of knowledge about the language development of the individuals who have special needs of special education teacher candidates.
Course Content: Definition of communication; Definition of language; theories of language acquisition; language, communication and speech concepts and their development; basic language, communication and speaking features and problems seen in children with special education needs; evaluation of language, communication and speech problems; determination of objectives according to language components; natural and structured scientific based / effective methods used in communication skills; family guidance on the development of communication skills.
