Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Teaching the physical and motor characteristics of children who need special education and supporting the development of children in this group
Course Content: Physical Education and Sports: Definition, Content, Basic philosophy; Disability Groups: Definition, Characteristics, Sense-perception-motor development, Physical fitness, Physical activity level, Play, Participation, Evaluation: Measurement, Environmental factors, Tools and equipment, Individualized education program: Short and long term goals, Behavior management: Gymnastics, Biking, Bowling, Swimming, Judo, Team sports: Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Badminton, In-water play and Exercise.
