Course Objectives: | It is aimed that candidates for special education teacher candidates should have an idea about the orientation of general policies of special education to increase their knowledge and awareness about the legal bases to be applied in business life. |
Course Content: | The history of disability policies and legal arrangements for special education in Turkey; national policies and legal arrangements for persons with disabilities and special education; international policies and legal arrangements for persons with disabilities and special education; Turkey is a party to international agreements; the legal arrangements in the world are important in terms of individuals with disabilities, special education practices and regulations in Turkey; general paradigm change for disabled people; The gap between policy, legal regulations and practices. |
