Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To recognize and identify of the roles and functions of different types of banks
• To underline of a bank balance sheet and of how a bank manages its liquidity and its capital
• To compare the structures of banking systems between different economies;
• To explain the structures of banking industries;
• To explain the functions of different types of banks including central banks;

• To analyze Turkish banking sector
• To explain risk management in banking
Course Content: This course will prove useful to business and finance professionals, as well as anyone who would like to learn more about banking and how the global financial system operates. This course reviews the banking system, basic banking practices.
