Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To teach the fundamentals of lighting technique in order to provide an adequate and economical solution for lighting problems and to give information about how to draw an electrical interior installation project in accordance with these principles.
Course Content: The subject, purpose and types of lighting. Photometric magnitudes (luminous flux, amount of light, light intensity, illuminance level, glare, photographic stimulation, photometric radiance). Photometric laws (Cosine law, inverse proportionality law with square of distances, lambert's law, space-angle projection law). Components of lighting. Light and vision, light sources. Lighting account.
