Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It aims to provide the students with the connection between cinema and social events and to understand the connection between cinema, history, society and social events. In doing so, it enables the learner to establish deeper connections with social events by discussing films.
Course Content: Starting from the birth of cinema, the course covers historical events in chronological order. Examines the relationship between cinema and social events in the period between 1895 and 2000, which is the birth date of cinema.
