Course Objectives: Introduces CAD-CAM applications that used in clothing industry. Purposes to obtain making pattern ability using by computer. Creating variants, model application on the model, basic pattern preparetion by the editing menü in design application on the computer. Also purposes to obtain preparing technical portfolio, drawing clothe models using by computer application.
Course Content: Recognize CAD-CAM systems used in ready-to-wear sector and understand the importance of these programs.
• The ability to prepare basic skirts, T-shirts, trousers and dress patterns on the computer.
• To gain the knowledge and skills to apply the model (skirt, pants, dress) through the basic mold.
• To be able to give necessary shares on the molds applied to the model, to have the knowledge and skills to determine the writing and signs.
• Have the ability to prepare the technical data of the models.
• Ability to draw the picture of the garment models.

2) • Customer file. Creation of the size table. Presentation of the menus. • Introduction of the program. Laboratory, Application Performs experiments on the computer using the program's menus.
3) • Modeling in pattern program. The model is saved and the model is recalled. • Create a new model Laboratory, Applied expression. Applications are made on the computer.
4) • The options required in mold preparation; • Add point, rectangle, parallel etc. Applications are made. • Menus for F Laboratory, Applied expression. The options used to create molds on the computer are studied.
5) • Applies rectangles and dots on the front and back pattern. He pliers on it. • Basic skirt pattern Laboratory, Applied expression. One-to-one skirt pattern on the braid paper.
6) • Sharing of the front and back mold. Throwing the nuts. Writing information • Basic skirt patterning Laboratory, Applied expression. It shares the front and back pattern, the inserts are discarded and their information is written. A one-to-one measurement of the front and back of the skirt mold on the mural paper.
7) Applies rectangles and dots on the front and back pattern. Performs fabric opening process. T-shirt Laboratory, Applied expression. The options used to create molds on the computer are studied.
8) • Midterm • Midterm File evaluation is done. Evaluation is done.
9) • Applies rectangles and dots on the front and back pattern. Inner point is taken and pocket pattern is made. • Tracksuit pattern Laboratory, Applied expression. The options used to create molds on the computer are studied.
