Course Objectives: |
In this course, many issues and discussions, with the concepts of social change and culture at the center, are examined with the parallel course of these concepts. The social, cultural, economic and political reflections of social change in the context of society and individuals are discussed and the differences between past and present dynamics are examined.
The aim of the course is teaching Turkey’s social structure,changes, social and individual breakpoints with different phases to the students. It is aimed that students understand social change within the context of language, culture, identity, communication, media and similar current contexts and make sense of today's society.

Society, socialization, dynamics of social change, social change and politics, media and society, the concept of culture, culture and identity, gender, globalization, social transformation in Turkey, the only party period – multi-party period. |
