Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course examines the court structure in Turkey, status of judges, initiation of
proceedings, summary and ordinary procedures, jurisdiction, petition of the case
and reply, evidence, burden of proof, means of proof including written
instruments, witnesses, oath and expert evidence, effect of judgments, and
enforcement procedures.
Course Content: General information about Civil Procedure Law and basic concepts of civil
procedure law
• Courts, cases and parties to the case
• Procedures for opening and conducting proceedings
• Proofs and proofs
• Provisions of Appeal and Law Ways
• Arbitration and other dispute resolution methods
