Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: • To recognize and identify use and apply the basic laws of electricity in direct and alternating current circuits.
• To understand the properties of the DC and AC sources..
• To apply methods of protection against electrical energy..
• To recognize electrical installation types and materials and use in the right place.
• To know and make low-voltage electrical installations.
• To know and make lighting and electrical installations will know.
Course Content: During the course, the basic laws of electricity, direct and the basic features of alternating current and types of electrical installations will be taught in practice.

Program Outcomes
1) Having theoretical and practical knowledge at the basic level supported by textbooks, application tools and other resources with up-to-date information in the field based on the competences gained at secondary level.
2) To gain the ability to use the same level of theoretical and applied knowledge at the same level in an advanced education level or the same field in the field. To be able to interpret and evaluate data, to identify and analyze data, and to develop evidence-based solutions by using basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field.
3) To be able to transfer the thoughts at the level of basic knowledge and skills which are related to the field through written and oral communication. Share ideas and suggestions for solutions to issues related to the field with experts and non-experts. Using a foreign language at least in the European Language Portfolio A2 General Level to monitor information in the field and communicate with colleagues.
