Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Basic Concepts, Stress Analysis, Stress Strain Relationships, Normal Force State, Simple Bending State, Unified Bending State, Torsion, Stress and Deformation Transformations
Course Content: This course covers Basic Information, Stress Account Pressure in liquids Account, The resulting deformation under axial load, Moment of Inertia and Weight Center, Design of Simple Beams with rectangular cross section, Calculation of Deflection and Rotation in simple beams.
