Course Objectives: | In this course, it is aimed to discuss what can be done about the education processes of children who have been treated in hospitals for a long time for chronic or different reasons. |
Course Content: | General developmental characteristics of 0-18 age group children admitted to health institutions, appropriate approach to the sick child and family, preparatory education, child-family-staff interaction, preparing children and their families for diagnosis and surgery, games in the hospital, hospital schools, children, their families and staff, rights of hospitalized children. |
