Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: With this course, the student learns to perform tumor-based simulation, to immobilize the patient, and to calculate the treatment area by considering the displacement of the tumor caused by critical organ movements.
Course Content: Effects of radiation, Deterministic effects, Conditions affecting immobilization, Spine irradiation techniques, Conformal Radiotherapy techniques, Conventional Radiotherapy techniques, Stereotactic Radiotherapy techniques.
