Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide students, business managers who make many decisions for different situations almost every day, suitable for conditions, fast, integrated with business purposes, etc. to teach how to use computer systems that make decisions.
Course Content: In this course, Definition and History of Decision Support System, Components of the Decision Support System, Decision Structure and Types of Decision Support System, Decision Support System Application Areas, KDS Sample Problems- Establishing KDS Problem Models (Linear Programming Model, Transport Model, Assignment Model, Network Models etc.), The Basics of MS Excel - Using the Solver Tool, Solving Models with the Help of Excel Solver
