Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The course shows how cinema should be studied with the concepts of feminism. Cinema is not just about movies, it is considered as a whole with production, screening, distribution networks and viewing practices.
Course Content: The course examines feminist theory in film studies. The concept of gender, class, and race in movies are rethought through the feminist perspective. It surveys the influence of the feminist method in the current film industry.
