Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to introduce students to psychodrama, a group therapy method, and to contribute to the development of the roles and skills of social workers by using its methods and techniques. Increase in students' level of empathy through group dynamics, decrease in anxiety levels, increase in self-esteem and assertiveness; It is aimed to develop the creative and spontaneity aspects of being a healthy and competent individual, which is our most valuable tool in professional life.
Course Content: psychodrama practice; elements of psychodrama; phases of a psychodrama session; basic techniques and auxiliary techniques in psychodrama; It is planned to conduct weekly lessons in the form of warming up games in psychodrama. There will be course content that allows students to be in action to acquire spontaneous, creative qualities.
