Course Objectives: | Gaining the ability to model mechanical systems, analysis of mechanical vibration problems and introduction of necessary approaches for prevention. |
Course Content: | Elements of vibrating systems. Free vibration of one degree of freedom systems. Harmonic excitation of one degree of freedom systems. Transient vibrations of one degree of freedom systems. Multi degree of freedom systems. Derivation of governing equations. Free vibration of multi degree of freedom systems. Forced vibration of multi degree of freedom systems. Vibration control. |
