Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To know the international measurement system and basic measurement sciences, To be able to measure using ammeter, voltmeter, ohmmeter, galvanometer, To know the resistance values by looking at the color codes, To adjust the desired voltage and current by connecting the signal generator to the electrical circuit, To be able to observe the current, to take necessary measures for the safety of work,  To be able to apply the necessary first aid in the accidents encountered at work
Course Content: Teaching of electronic measuring instruments.

2) The importance and definition of measurement. International measurement system (IMS). Basic and derived units.
3) Classification of measuring instruments. Calibration needs. Accuracy and precision. Measurement errors.
4) Usage of ammeter and voltmeter, bonding forms, use of galvanometers
5)   Extension of measurement areas of ammeter and voltmeters, Shunt resistance calculation   Large resistance and small resistance measurement by ammeter-voltmeter method
6) Use of Ohmmeter and LCR
7) Adjustment of Galvanometer as voltmeter, serial and parallel Ohmmeter
