Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is; preparing a collection of clothing or upholstery patterns, one of the patterns in the collection by the template printing (silk printing) method, by doing experimental surface survey in the printing workshop and the technique used in the application, to ensure the understanding of the printing process. In addition, to design designers who can interpret their products with creative power in the field of print design. |
Course Content: | • Creating creative and original products in fashion and textile printing design • Report the design and reproducibility in the industrial environment • To be able to present his / her knowledge and creative works with a file (portfolio) • To be able to use the knowledge of design (concept determination and sketch interpretation) • Create original design products using a method • To understand the principles of textile design, to examine the artistic and social developments in the context of design principles • General information about the methods of the design of textile surfaces • Preparation of printable pattern collection |
