Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It is a Studio course which is applied in order to create a style consciousness with the ability to understand and anticipate the fashion trends of our students.
The course includes fashion trends and brand style perceptions, which form the basis of the shopping preferences of the masses; allows our students to comprehend the dynamics between design and sales of the world of fashion in the rapidly changing clothing and home textile sector. Our students can classify fashion trends, interpret current season fashion shows and fashion trends of home season at the fairgrounds, obtain the intellectual fashion accumulation, differentiate the styles of world brands, create a personal style and interior design, fashion in the mother tongue and at least one foreign language. identify trends, develop aesthetic views, interpret social changes, use digital technologies alone or together effectively. The student can present his / her work safely in front of the public by doing research. Be able to start career planning, apply ethical principles and understand the importance of lifelong research.
Course Content:
• Understanding the dynamics between fashion, design and brand.
• To be able to classify fashion trends and to distinguish styles of world brands
• Understanding the ability to create personal clothes style
• To be able to comprehend and use fashion trend terminology in home textile and clothing sectors.
• To become familiar with home textile and clothing designers in the world and in our country and to gain the habit of getting to know and watching.
• Ensuring awareness among fashion, trend and style
• Ability to make fashion, trend and style analysis.
• Ability to perform color and trend analysis and to follow season trains.
• Ability to follow the style analysis in the press.
