Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide students with the ability to examine and understand the effects of popular culture on music, to provide an in-depth understanding of the history of popular music, and to enable them to analyze the complex interactions between popular culture and music. |
Course Content: | Understanding the relationships between popular culture and music. Ability to analyze important periods and movements in the history of popular music. Evaluating social, political and economic interactions in popular music and culture. Ability to create an original research project in the field of popular culture and music. |
