Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to explain music to students from a philosophical perspective, explore the relationships between music and philosophy, understand the aesthetic and metaphysical dimensions of music, evaluate the social and cultural effects of music, and enable them to establish a deepened connection between music and philosophy. |
Course Content: | The ability to evaluate music from a philosophical perspective. Understanding the aesthetic and metaphysical dimensions of music. Ability to evaluate the social, cultural and historical context of music. Ability to apply philosophical thought to music analysis and evaluation. |
