Course Objectives: | This course designed to teach about calculation of bench blasting patterns for open pit mining, charge calculation, fragmentation, swelling, throw, levelling, firing units, smooth blasting, mini bench blasting, cautious blasting. |
Course Content: | At the end of this course the student will be able to: • Be able to analyze bench parameters • Be able to calculate bench blasting’s pattern. • Be able to design cautious blasting pattern. • To inspire the students to think clearly and critically the solution of the explosives engineering problems in the context of bench blasting knowledge |
