Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course designed to teach about calculation of bench blasting patterns for open pit mining, charge calculation, fragmentation, swelling, throw, levelling, firing units, smooth blasting, mini bench blasting, cautious blasting.
Course Content: At the end of this course the student will be able to:
• Be able to analyze bench parameters
• Be able to calculate bench blasting’s pattern.
• Be able to design cautious blasting pattern.
• To inspire the students to think clearly and critically the solution of the explosives engineering problems in the context of bench blasting knowledge
