Course Objectives: The main goals of this course; providing information about tunnel construction techniques, tunnel excavation methods, machines and equipment for tunnel construction, NATM, shaft sinking drilling-blasting designs.
Course Content: • Knows the basic chemistry of explosives
• Knows tunneling terms
• Learns tunnel excavation and construction methods
• Makes tunnel and well drilling-blasting designs
• Knows tunnel support systems
