Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: To gain the ability of to understand problems, ability of thinking analytically and ability of producing solution.
To give some information about fundamental sciences and show their application areas.
To improve the ability of calculation
To give research ability
Course Content: Units, Vector analysis, One and more dimensional motion. Newton's laws and their applications. Work-power and energy, momentum. Elastic and inelastic collisions. Rotation, angular velocity and acceleration, torque, rotational kinetic energy, moment of inertia, angular momentum.

1) Sufficient knowledge in mathematics, science and engineering related to their branches; the ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge in these areas to model and solve engineering problems.
2) The ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems; selecting and applying appropriate analysis and modeling methods for this purpose.
