Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: To gain the ability of to understand problems, ability of thinking analytically and ability of producing solution.
To give some information about fundamental sciences and show their application areas.
To improve the ability of calculation
To give research ability
Course Content: Electric Force, Electric Field, Gauss Law, Electric Potential, Capacitors, Electric Current and Resistance, Connection of resistances, Kirchoff's laws,R-C circuits,Magnetic field and its application, Biot-Savart Law, Ampere's Law, Faraday's law and Lenz law.

1) To understand the definitions of electric force, electric field and electric potential and calculate them
2) To be able to calculate the capacitance of capacitor and resistance of resistor.
3) Establish the connection between current and charge
4) Understanding Kirchhoff laws and apply it to circuits.
5) To understand the notion of magnetic field and its applications
6) Understanding, Biot -Savart, Ampere, Faraday and Lenz laws. Then apply them.
