Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: In this course, it is aimed that students will be able to make appropriate analyzes and report their findings by working on sample research problems from various fields of psychology and data sets suitable for measurement problems. For this purpose, the students' learning of various analyzes that can be carried out with the SPSS program within the scope of the course, their ability to apply them to problems from the field of psychology by using the research planning and statistical information they have obtained from the statistics and research methods they have taken before, and to draw conclusions constitute the main study area of ​​the course.
Course Content: The main study area of ​​the course is to learn various analyzes that can be carried out with the SPSS program within the scope of the course, to apply it to problems from the field of psychology by using the research planning and statistical knowledge they have obtained from the statistics and research methods they have taken before, and to draw conclusions. Reporting the results in accordance with the APA style, which is widely used in the world, is one of the important achievements of the course. Within the scope of the course, the distributions of the variables that form the basis for the interpretation of the Psychological Tests, percentages, correlation, chi-square and regression analyzes will focus on the problems that can be evaluated.
