Course Objectives: | The purpose of this course is to provide general information about pathology of human body. Moreover, this Lecture aimst teach the pathology laboratory functioning and practices and general terms in the pathology. During the lectures, students will be identify the pathology departments and will know the routine function, organization, authorization and responsibility of pathology. |
Course Content: | • To identify the disease and etiology terms, will learn the basic pathology terms to understand the clinical and pathological diagnosis in the pathology report and to know cell injury mechanism and strıctural changes of tissue and organ. • To define a knowledge about the work safely in the laboratory and the occupational risks • To learn the medical waste disposal process and the basic functioning of archive and storage. • To identify a knowledge about the tools, materials and chemicals that are used in laboratory • To have knowledge of these chemicals properties and the basic rules of their safety usage. |
