Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: With this course, the students;
acquire the skills and habits of verbal expression of what they think, hear, see, experience, learn, know, clearly, understandably, accurately and effectively;
Conscious, correct and careful use of Turkish in accordance with speaking and writing rules;
to develop the ability to express their feelings and thoughts effectively and understandably in a prepared or unprepared manner against a person or community;
improve their skills of verbal self-expression, speaking in front of the community, making presentations in business and professional life;
talk about and solve problems they may encounter in business life; It is aimed to interpret, evaluate and verbally express.

1) - Gain the skills to use basic level theoretical and practical knowledge acquired within the field in the same field of a higher education level or in a field of same level. - Interpret and evaluate data, define problems, do analysis, produce solutions based on proof with using basic level knowledge and practices gained within the field.

1) 1 To be able to express himself / herself in business life orally and effectively. 2 Define the basic concepts and terms related to oral expression. 3 Students will be able to prepare oral / written text by using sorting and development techniques in various oral and written expression styles. 4 Turkish use the grammar correctly and effectively. 5 Students will be able to apply diction techniques (breathing techniques, manipulation, emphasis and intonation) to speak accurately, beautifully and effectively. 6 Can use his voice and body language effectively. 7 Can express his / her thoughts orally by making prepared / unprepared speeches within and within the community; evaluate their own speech. 8 Developing self-confidence by gaining the skill of expressing their ideas in business life and social environment. 9 He can plan what to say, where, in what form and how much to say, in order that he will say it without distracting while talking. 10 Improve the ability to think quickly with speech. 11 Improve the ability to be credible and reassuring while talking.
2) - Transfer the ideas based on the basic knowledge and skills acquired within the field through written and oral communication. - Share the ideas and solution proposals to problems about issues within the field with professionals and non-professionals. - Monitor the developments in the field and communicate with peers by using a foreign language at least at a level of European Language Portfolio A2 General Level. - Use informatics and communication technologies with at least a minimum level of European Computer Driving License Basic Level software knowledge.
