Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to provide the radiological terms are explained. The bones and the articulations are defined. The students register the anatomical structures of head radiography, body radiography and extremity radiography. The anatomy of lung and respiratory tract are explained. The anatomies of stıomach and perito are defined. The student learn the anatomy of heart, artery and vein. The spinal cord is defined. The anatomy of digestive tract is explained.

Course Content: • Define the anatomic terms
• Describe the anatomical radiography of the systems
• Define the radiological anatomical properties tissues and organs
• Explain the lesions and morbidity in radiography imagings.
• Explain the pathological lesions

1) • Knows the medical and technical terminology required for the effective use of devices used in the field of diagnosis and treatment. • Know the radiological anatomy required for the effective use of devices used in the field of diagnosis and treatment. • Knows the risks associated with the devices used in the diagnosis and treatment field and takes the necessary measures. • Sets the parameters of the imaging devices suitable for the patient under the supervision of a physician. • It prepares the environment for individuals receiving diagnosis and treatment services to receive services in a manner that respects their personal rights. • Know physiological, physical and chemical interactions and mechanisms in the process of creating radiological images.

1) Have the ability to use the devices used in the radiology and nuclear medicine unit for diagnosis and treatment under the control of a physician. • Knows the damages and protection methods that may occur due to radiation.

1) Possess theoretical and practical knowledge supported by textbooks with updated information, practice equipments and other resource on basic level based on health qualifications gained at secondary education level.
