Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Learning Outcomes
1 - Knowledge
Theoretical - Conceptual
1) Define basic biological concepts
2) Define a cell and distinguish between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells
3) Define the basis of tissues, organs and biological systems, starting with cells, the smallest unit of life.
4) Be able to distinguish macromolecules, their structures and functional properties.
2 - Skills
Cognitive - Practical
3 - Competences
Communication and Social Competence
Learning Competence
1) It aims to train health technicians who have sufficient knowledge, skills and understanding of the basic theories, concepts, processes and applications in biology.
Field Specific Competence
1) Understands the preservation and transfer of hereditary information
Competence to Work Independently and Take Responsibility
1) It aims to train technicians who can actively participate in discussions about biology and science, evaluate these discussions, and consciously evaluate scientific information and applications they will encounter in daily life.
