Course Objectives: | • To have information about the metabolic regulation of hormones • Having information about pregnancy hormones and sex gland hormones • To know the basic features for the application of tests related to hormones • To define and sort the functions and properties of the hypothalamus, pituitary, pancreas, thyroid and parathyroid hormones. • To have information about the general functioning and control mechanisms of hormones |
Course Content: | General properties and mechanisms of action of hormones, the hypothalamus and pituitary hormones, adrenal cortex and medulla hormones, thyroid gland hormones , pancreas gland hormones , gonads and pregnancy hormones, calcium and phosphorus metabolism regulating hormones, metabolism integration |
