| The Istanbul Okan University Nursing Department aims to train nurses who are sensitive to the needs of the health system, committed to ethical values, and able to provide scientific and evidence-based care. The program adopts a holistic care approach aimed at improving the health of individuals, families, and society; while also aiming to develop students’ professional skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, effective communication, leadership, and teamwork. The education program, which integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical practice, is structured within the framework of national qualifications; and aims to increase the competitiveness of its graduates at local and global levels. The program is conducted with a research- and community-service-oriented approach that supports a lifelong learning approach. |
