Program Profile

This programme aims to teach the principles of mediation as one of the alternative dispute resolution methods in depth and to develop solutions to the practical problems in this field. The programme aims to provide participants with a comprehensive knowledge of the basic concepts, processes and legal framework of mediation and to provide them with the ability to overcome the difficulties encountered in mediation practices. The aim of this master's programme is to provide students with the theoretical knowledge in the field of mediation, while developing a solution-oriented approach to how this knowledge can be used effectively in practice. Students will be trained to understand the legal, psychological and socio-cultural dynamics in the mediation process and will be able to develop solutions for disputes, especially in the field of private law. The programme considers mediation not only as a profession but also as an important tool for resolving disputes between parties in faster, more effective and less costly ways. In this context, graduates will play an important role in solving problems in this field by gaining the necessary knowledge and skills to better manage the processes in mediation practices. This programme will contribute to the development of mediation and alternative dispute resolution methods, as well as provide an educational opportunity that will enable participants to produce effective solutions in dispute resolution processes by increasing their competencies in this field.
