Course Objectives: | 1. To gain experience in crisis management risk management, 2. Disaster management, 3. Having general knowledge about disaster management systems 4. To learn refugee problems, 5. To learn how to prevent disasters like aura, avalanche, flood. |
Course Content: | Disaster definitions, types of disasters, natural disasters, humanitarian disaster, choice of settlement area, effects of municipalities on settlement plan, effects on settlement plan of civilian population, effects on settlement plan of central government, use of natural resources, disaster behaviors of man- necessity, risk table, integrated disaster management |
