Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to introduce the students to all elements of intermodal transportation systems; to provide them with a roadmap for effective implementation; and, to highlight critical concepts.
Course Content: Introduction to intermodal transportation system, global transportation corridors, global logistics and transportation infrastructure, container-related transportation activities, multi-modal freight operations, international road-maritime-air and rail transportation related with intermodal transportation, decision support tools for real-time intermodal transportation systems.
