Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to understand the importance of quality and standards in global and international trade, and to emphasize their necessity. The goal of quality and standards is to ensure that products, services, or processes meet specific expectations and guarantee continuity. This ensures customer satisfaction, meaning that the product or service is guaranteed to meet customer needs and expectations, increases efficiency by reducing errors, ensures more effective use of resources, and provides a competitive advantage. Quality products and services make it easier to stand out in the market. It enhances brand reliability; quality products strengthen trust in the brand. It supports continuous improvement; quality management encourages continuous improvement.


Course Content: This course focuses on understanding the concepts of quality and standards, recognizing national and international infrastructure, exploring ISO standards, explaining environmental management and energy management systems, and addressing critical areas such as occupational health and safety and food safety management systems. Students gain knowledge about various ISO standards and discuss their economic, trade, and environmental impacts, learning the necessary steps to ensure quality and sustainability in today's business world. By the end of the course, students are equipped with applicable knowledge regarding quality and security in global and national systems.
