Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To teach students the basic concepts of information systems and information technologies that produce the information they have to use at managerial and operational level in businesses.
Course Content: This course includes the definitions and concepts of Management information systems, Data-information and processed information, Information System Types, Information Systems, Organizations and Strategy, Information Systems Hardware, Information Systems Software, Database Management, Computer Networks, Internet and WWW, Information Technology for Competency at Operational Level Systems, Electronic Commerce: Markets and Products in Digital Process, Decision Making Systems in Organizations, Development of Systems and Managing Change, Project Management: Creating Business Values of Systems and Managing Change, Examining the information systems brought by information systems in terms of future and cloud.
