Course Objectives: To introduce the materials used in dentistry and to teach the application areas and methods
Course Content: General properties of dental materials, gypsum, wax, metal alloys, treatment, prosthetic base lining materials, dental ceramics, impression materials

1) Questions the relationship between the basic concepts of materials science and dentistry.
2) Explains the structure of dental materials, the bonds between atoms and atoms.

5) Predicts the behavior of dental materials used in dentistry under various stresses.
