Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: -In this course, it is aimed to introduce and teach the basic principles of shallow and deep foundation design in geotechnical engineering.
Course Content: -Shallow Foundation Types and Foundation Bearing Capacity Calculation/ The Concept of Safety in Bearing Capacity and Eccentric Loading Status/ Special Topics in TG/ Design Determination with the Results of Field Tests and Empirical Approaches/ Settlement of Shallow Foundations/ Raft Foundation Design/ Pile Foundation Under Vertical Loads Design / Group Effect on Piles
