Course Objectives: |
The aim of this course is to gain the knowledge, skills and behaviors that will be able to identify the surgical patients and their families' needs before, during and after the surgery. |
Course Content: |
Asepsis, aseptic methods, control of hospital infections, definition of surgery, inflammation, wound types and care, fluid electrolyte balance and disorder in surgery, pre- and post-operative care, nursing and care of digestive system surgical diseases, kidney, urinary tract and surgical diseases of male reproductive organs and nursing care, breast diseases and nursing care, surgical diseases of the respiratory system and nursing care, surgical diseases of the cardiovascular system and nursing care, orthopedic diseases and nursing care, eye diseases and nursing care, ENT diseases and nursing care, operating room, surgery of the endocrine system diseases and nursing care, general principles of transplantation and burn treatment, surgical diseases of the nervous system and nursing care. |
