Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To gain knowledge, skills and behaviors that can perform the qualified care practices in accordance with the nursing process as a member of the team during surgery of the surgical patient.
Course Content: Introduction to operating room nursing, standards in operating room nursing, safety precautions in the operating room, nursing care in the operating room, asepsis, sterilization, basic surgical instruments, documentation.
