Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide the knowledge, skills and applications related to the diagnosis, close follow-up, application and evaluation of the patients who need intensive care.
Course Content: Design and organization of the intensive care unit, acceptance of the patient in the intensive care unit, physiological and psychological changes in the intensive care unit, fluid-electrolyte disorders and intensive care, hemodynamic monitoring of the patient, patient transfer in the intensive care unit, discharge of the patient from the intensive care unit, care of the patient in the mechanical ventilation, the needs of the patient and his / her family in the intensive care unit, infections in the intensive care unit, end-of-life care, ethical dimension of intensive care unit.
