Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this program is to review and repeat the theorical lessons thought in third and fourth years; and connect this knowledge with practical applications. Clinical applications and treatment abilities of the students will be evaluated and improved.
In this program, students will gain the ability of reading, understanding, interpreting and presenting of the current scientific literature.
The students will be divided in groups and the program for each group will be last for 4 weeks.
Course Content: Practical Lesson: Tooth Extraction, Surgical Tooth Extraction, Simple Impacted Tooth Extraction with Minimal Mucosa Retention
Surgical Assistance: In the OR under both Local and General Anesthesia
Literature Presentation
Study of Theorical Lessons (3, 4 ve 5. Years' Lesson; This study will be done interactively and will be crossed with practice); Attendance to Periodical Scientific Meeting of OMFS Department
