Course Objectives: | development in early childhood, children with developmental delays, definition of special education in early childhood, importance, theoretical approaches, historical development, experts and support staff in early childhood special education, family participation in early childhood special education, screening in early childhood, diagnosis, programming, purpose evaluation , education delivery models and teaching approaches, some examples of early education programs. |
Course Content: | Knows the basic concepts of early childhood. • Knows the development of children between 0-6 years old. • Follow the development of children aged 0-6. • Distinguish different individuals who develop in early childhood. • Know the scientific-based programs in early childhood. • Knows the programs used in our country in early childhood. • Know the programs used in the world in early childhood. • Understands the role and characteristics of early childhood educator. • Know family-centered programs in special education in early childhood. • Knows alternative intervention programs related to special education in early childhood. • Plans appropriate education for the development of students in early childhood. • Follow appropriate education for the development of students in early childhood. |
