Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course includes basic knowledge of interpretation of developments in the markets in the light of the macroeconomic indicators. Within the course economic indicators are classified according to their importance and influence and each is examined separately with case studies.
Course Content: Inflation and inflation targeting, the central bank and monetary policy, fiscal and budgetary policies, balance of payments and new developments in the financial markets are discussed.
