Course Objectives: | This course builds the foundation for preparing students to work professionally in the area of thermal systems. The emphasis of this course will be on thermal systems and boundary conditions. |
Course Content: | • To recognize and identify basic concepts of thermodynamics • To underline the importance of thermal science in industry. • To discuss energy transfer by heat, work and mass, 1st Law of Thermodynamics in open and closed systems, 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, and Entropy. |
